Chili recipe
Ingredients needed for Chili:
4 STRIPS BACON, DICED
2 LBS GROUND BEEF OR CUBED STEAK
1 YELLOW ONION, DICED
1 GREEN BELL PEPPER, DICED
1 RED BELL PEPPER, DICED
5 tsp MINCED GARLIC
1 CAN DICED GREEN CHILIS (HEAT LEVEL TO PREFERENCE)
1 CAN PINTO BEANS, DRAINED
1 CAN DARK RED KIDNEY BEANS, DRAINED
1 CAN BLACK BEANS, DRAINED
1 CAN (14.5oz) FIRE ROASTED DICED TOMATOES
1 CAN (14.5oz) TOMATO SAUCE
1 CAN (6oz) TOMATO PASTE
1 6oz FLAVOR RIOT MILD, MEDIUM OR HOT CHILI BOMB SEASONING MIX
2 C. BEEF BROTH
2 C. CHICKEN BROTH
2 T. WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
1 T. FISH SAUCE
3 T. PICKLE JUICE
1 tsp. TOBASCO SAUCE (OPTIONAL DEPENDING ON DESIRED SPICE LEVEL)
1 tsp. SIRACHA SAUCE (OPTIONAL DEPENDING ON DESIRED SPICE LEVEL)
Cooking Instructions:
COOK BACON OVER MED-HEAT TO DESIRED TEXTURE. REMOVING W/ SLOTTED SPOON, KEEPING GREASE IN PAN
INCREASE HEAT TO MED-HIGH. ADD VEGGIES & GROUND BEEF OR STEAK, COOK UNTIL BEEF IS BROWNED.
ADD GARLIC. COOK 1 MIN.
ADD TOMATO PASTE AND SPICE MIX. COOK 1 MIN.
REDUCE HEAT TO MED-LOW. ADD TOMATOES, TOM SAUCE, DICED CHILIS, WORC SAUCE, FISH SAUCE, PICKLE JUICE.
SIMMER 5 MINS.
ADD BROTHS & HOT SAUCES. COOK OVER LOW SIMMER FOR 45 MINUTES
ADD DRAINED BEANS, COOK ADDITIONAL 30 MINUTES.
